A little back story for you:

Mark and I worked together at Waste Connections in Alex, OK. Nearly a year before I asked Mark the question….”When the heck are you going to ask that girl to marry you??!”; and that’s when the planning started.

This last Wednesday, May 8, was Mark and Carijo’s 2 year anniversary. We went out for a special couples anniversary session and it just so happened to turn into an engagement session! =)

Unfortunately there were HORRIBLE storms at the original location he wanted to propose but we made do. :)

The Bratcher Family | Chickasha – Rush Springs, OK Family Photographer

What can I say about this family? I could say that their kind, selfless, funny, spirited, sincere…..the list goes on and on. But one word pops into my mind when I think of the Bratcher family – AMAZING. Absolutely AMAZING.
I grew up and graduated with Jared….I always knew he was a great and very sweet person but I never knew where that came from until I met the entire clan. I have seriously never met a more fun, loving, kind and here’s our word again – AMAZING family. We shared so many laughs during out session! I’m not sure we ever stopped. :)

 

Barbara, thank you so much for choosing me to photograph your beautiful family. You have raised your boys so well – I think I need a copy of your cliff notes. ;)

Colten & Cortney | Chickasha – Fletcher, OK Engagement Photographer

I first met Colten and Cortney at their wedding consultation…. right then I knew we would mesh so well! I know that even more so now after their fun engagement session. We had such a blast and you can see the love just radiate between the two of them. So amazing :) . I’m so excited for their wedding June 1st!
